The North Shore, as it feels.
Cold water, changing weather, boreal forest, wildlife and the moments between storms.
“A camera is just the excuse to stay a little longer.”
About North Shore Lens
Photographing the edge of Lake Superior.
North Shore Lens is focused on the landscapes, wildlife and changing seasons of Minnesota’s North Shore. The goal is simple: make photographs that feel like being there — wind off the lake, early light through the trees, and the quiet that comes after fresh snow.
The work is rooted in the places around Lake Superior and the Superior National Forest, with an emphasis on natural light, atmosphere and the character of the North Shore.
